As Chair of the Public Safety and Criminal Justice Committee, our office will be hosting an in person hearing on Monday October 26 at 2pm to examine the circumstances surrounding in-custody deaths at the Suffolk County House of Corrections and systemic factors contributing to mortality in custody.

Members of the public are invited to attend or testify. Please contact our office with any questions or concerns!
