Hennigan Community Center Meeting

Last week, we had the privilege of connecting with our community at the Hennigan Community Center. Neighbors, students, families and electeds came together to share stories about what the Hennigan means to them and their aspirations for its future. These conversations highlighted the vital role community centers play in strengthening our neighborhoods and addressing essential community support needs.

We also heard from local youth about the profound and positive impact the Hennigan has had on their lives and their needs for the future. We were grateful for the update shared by BPS on their ongoing progress.

A massive, thank you to Luisa Harris for her fifteen years of dedication to the Hennigan! We also extend our sincere thanks to Councilors Weber and Louijeune, Representative Montaño, the Hyde Sq Task Force, Tree of Life, Living Safely in Jackson Square, JPCC, Commissioner Rivera at BCYF, and every single person who took the time to participate and share their perspectives.
